"Another Life" Continues!

TeamTV is ecstatic to be continuing with our first feature-length production, "Another Life". We are currently halfway through the principal photography for the film and so far, the materials looks simply superb, so a huge thanks to all our incredibly talented cast and crew, and an equally huge thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way.

We are especially excited about "Another Life" not just because it's some of the best footage we've ever captured, but because we are very confident about the progress of the film once it is released, we are hoping to make it big to at least film festivals, if not getting some kind of release. Whether that be on DVD or even cinemas, we're not sure yet, all we know is that we're going to push it all the way!

Also, TeamTV is overdue for it's AGM (Annual General Meeting) and members are hereby given notice that the AGM will take place on Thursday 24th May at 8pm in place of our regular meeting.

Keep an eye out for more news and website updates.

"Another Life" Casting

Hello to everyone! Apologies once again for a lack of recent update, busy-ness is overwhelming!

Here at TeamTV, we're deep in preparation for our latest venture, a feature length MiniDV film, a romance that deals with addiction in the forms of alcoholism and gambling, street alcoholism and developing love.

At the moment we're preparing to cast the film, auditions are being held on 27/1/07 in Reading, see the website for details!

Also in the news, we have finished "Flying Apart" which is set to get it's official web-release at the beginning of next month! An exciting product and a polished finish we are very pleased with.

Also, the event filming we did for Big Ned Lasagne last year has been completed in a rough cut the band are currently mulling over deciding which bits they'd like us to put into a promo for them - look forward to this in the coming months as well!

Tehre are still vacancies for both cast and crew on the shoot, so please check out our website for more details, or alternatively contact us for more information.

Cheers,

Larry

Exciting Things Are Happening!

Sorry for delays in updating the News Page, I (Larry) have been away on a three week training course in Northampton, and have had little time to keep in detailed contact with Team TV and update the website. Thinkfully, new mobile technology helps me do this on the fly. At the moment, I'm on a train to London paddington for example - I love technology :P

Anyway, with Team TV, many exciting thinfs have been happening. We have been negotiating with media companies around Reading to do streaming video and other projects specifically fo the net.

We are also continuing to pursue the avenues of feature-length productions, which everyone is excited about - ideas are flying, scripts are being drawn up and so forth.

We have also finished the edit of "Flying Apart" and a full release will be coming sometime in the near future. look out for this, as many of us agree it is one of our best projects to date.

The edit of Big Ned Lasagne's gig is also coming along - at the top of list of priorities, it is set to be a nicely composed promo. More to come when time allows.

Larry!

Flying Apart, Media in Reading

As many of you may have heard, the final editing process on the short "Flying Apart" has been completed, and we are estimating a DVD release to be coming within the next few weeks. Watch out for this! We are getting Richard Eke back for interviews to complete the commentary and other interview footage we need for the DVD and once all the materials have been completed we will have a new release.

This is set to be one of the most feature-[packed DVD releases Team TV has ever made!

Team TV is also beginning to get involved in business with many media companies in Reading. This week, Larry will be meeting with representatives from both Real Time and JMEZ media, hopefully to further ties and get involved with both local and international media business. Also we are to be involved with filming stage productions at South Street, Reading.

Check back for more later.

New Team TV Shop for Merchandise Open

As of Saturday 16th September, the first of the two Team TV online shops is now open for business. This shop is for Team TV merchandise - items of clothing, hats, bags, novelty items and so forth that we have designed both for crew to wear as publicity on our shoots, but also for those out there who have liked the group and/or our films, or even just want to show support for us. Click here to visit the new shop.

As the shopfront says (and as the general money-credo of Team TV) all of the profits made from merchandise and our productions goes back into the Team coffers for use producing further projects.

The products generally feature the Tem TV logo and sometimes jokes and quotes from our time making movies.

Sign up for our shop newsletter here and be apprised of new products as they are added to the shop - more are coming soon!

Show your support for Team TV and purchase some merchandise!

(We intend to have a shop selling our films online and running as soon as possible.)

Also the edit on "Flying Apart" is progressing and is into the final stages of post-production - the grading.

Reading Festival 06

As part of our ongoing documentary about Reading, we were out on Thursday evening filming the festival-goers arriving to pitch up tents and get ready for the weekend long festival which is about to begin! Reading festival draws thousands of people in each year, and is a central event synonymous with the town. We got some interesting shots of all the beer going in (as well as almost being hit by some flying beer!) and some interesting interviews with those making their way inside.

Thanks to everyone who was there filming, and to everyone who took the time to talk to us!

Broad Street Publicity Shoot

Publicity filming this Saturday in Broat Street, Reading Town Centre has been cancelled due to large amounts of community activity which has resulted in Reading Council denying our request for this saturday 19th august. Please pass this on to anyone not likely to see the new site. Please contact Larry@teamtv.org.uk with reference to filming next weekend of Reading Rock Festival. which will be going ahead regardless of permissions.

This wednesday, the new website will be fully up and running and we shall use the opportunity to go through a static test version and give everyone their usernames and passwords (@teamtv.org.uk).

Up and running?

As part of my running project to do something about the lack of a Team TV website, I have created this blog as a way to easily and quickly update news articles! The main site may be up soon if it is liked by the members tonight!
